Carmen Tomas is an educational change leader and researcher. Carmen has worked across public and private sectors leading innovation projects to overcome key challenges in education. Carmen has co-created best practice cases working with key stakeholders in situ at multiple universities to meet learner goals and organisational effectiveness. These include the implementation of student-centred learning approaches, innovative curriculum design and review, programme-level assessment and learning analytics. Carmen has also led institution-wide transformation initiatives such as transforming e-assessment, curriculum and assessment design. More recently, Carmen has also led the implementation of online learning working internationally with multiple universities. Carmen’s achievements include being shortlisted to a THE Award for innovation and leading an externally funded sector-wide project on Learning Analytics.  At present Carmen is working with edtech Accelerators to support edtech startup founders as a coach.

Magda Fonte has more than 10 years of experience in Online Learning working across universities and corporate sectors. At present, she works internationally across Europe and UK, driving the delivery of online learning for Higher Educations Institutions. Magda has extensive experience in Instructional Design and Learning Experience Design. Having worked in reputable Portuguese Universities and corporate sector. Magda is an expert in the online learning experience from higher education all the way to professional contexts. To date, she has enabled world class online learning for more than 6000 students worldwide and more than 25000 professionals. Magda is driving next generation online student-centred learning.
